Introduction

Personality

Beacuse of her noble upbringing, Noelle comes of as arrogant, uptight, vain and little entitled. As example upon her first meeting with Asta where she rudely denied his first offer friendship and told she did not give permission to talk to her her.

This also causes her to have difficulty admitting her failures, as she often tries to find excuses or blames her mistakes on somebody else. After finally coming out of her difficulties in admitting her mistakes, Noelle can also be seen as very reserved on expressing her delight over her achievements where she would rather suppress those feelings and shows her usual stern expression. As shown when Weiss Schnee and Sojiro complimented on her skills she reacted with glee and gratefully thanked them.

Her relationship with her siblings is strained due them rejecting partly due blaming her for their Mother's death upon her birth and lack magic control. Which has to develop an inferiority complex in front of them. However after defeating her older brother Solid Silva, she appears to have made strides, earned respect and has better relationship with her eldest brother Nozel Silva, though it is unknown if her siblings feel the same.

Noelle also has trouble showing her true feelings, partly due her pride and noble status as such after developing a crush on Asta which denies and shows jealously when other women show interest him.

After spending a good amount time with the Black Bull squad, she has begun to show less prejudiced towards commoners and treat them as equals.

This confidence, courage, and kindness shapes Noelle a strong resolve to protect those she cares for, which creates a more selfless side to her personality.

She is also rather modest, as she is mortified when she realizes her shirt is torn, showing her breasts slightly after the dungeon mission and showed embarrassment at wearing bikini at the beach.

Noelle Silva was born the fourth child and second daughter of House Silva of the Clover Kingdom. Her mother died after birth making her siblings blame her for this and leading to rough childhood as she is ridiculed and called a defect by her own family because of her lack of control over her magical powers. She often spent time with her cousin Mimosa Vermillion where they would explore and play within an abandoned ruin of buildings. After finding out about her difficulty to control her own magical power, Noelle also spends a fair amount of time in the ruin to train on her own.

For his part in helping Asta from the Magic Parliament, Noelle is very grateful to Sojiro and treats him with respect, addressing him by his title as Grandmaster. She even stood up for him against the Magic Parliament again when they tried to place there "judgement", despite knowing it was a low chance and endangered her. Sojiro in return, treats her with kindness and warned her to be too rash out of concern for her safety.

After training Sojiro complimented her of fighting skills and the use of her magic which caused to her to blush.

Noelle quickly got along with Weiss when they went to the Hunter World, she also praises Weiss for rational and quick thinking. In return Weiss gets along with Noelle, praising her for have similar thinking to her. During their spar, after she overwhelmed Weiss with her Valkyrie Dress, she was taken back by shock of how Weiss praised her fighting abilities, which made Noelle very happy. The two developed quick trust between each other as the fought together against the Deacon Yoshikawa and defeated him. During which Noelle was in awed of how gracefully Weiss was fighting, comparing to her of the tales she heard of how her mother fought.

In Noelle first encounter with the Cardinal of Destruction, Noelle expressed shock and fear at the sight of Yakuma after defeating Yuno, even commenting on her shock on how much power the one man has. After Yakuma defeated Asta, Noelle got over her fear and attacked him with her Sea Dragon Roar attack, however she was shocked that the Cardinal emerged unharmed and shrugged off her attack. Yakuma in turn while mocks her, he does acknowledge her strength, even stating her attack would have even could have defeated a Deacon.

Despite having little control and difficulty with her Noelle over time has grown to exceptionally powerful Mage. Starting out mostly a support fighter however upon her fight with older brother Solid Silva she has proven that she can handle her own in a fight. Yakuma a Bishop from the Cult of the End admitted that she was strong to take on Deacon in the cult proving her strength is growing with experience.

Immense Magic Power: As a noblewoman, Noelle possesses an immense amount of Magic Power. It is large enough to create a giant sphere of water and waterspout and to shake the whole Seabed Temple.Channeling this power into her offensive spells, she can even challenge elves. She has difficulty controlling her magic power, which is shown from her attacks' lack of accuracy. She has begun learning better control and can restrain her power at will.
