Government

The country is ruled by a monarchy which by a king or queen. Another ruler is the Wizard King who is charge of the country's military known as the Magic Knights. Another is that Kingdom's nobility appears to have a great impact on the Kingdom's politics. The Clover Kingdom also has parliament which holds trials. Since judgments are based on the nobles' opinions, the Magic Parliament is not an impartial body as the nobles are prejudiced and discriminatory against the lower classes.

However after the Cult Of The End's attack the king Augustus has been stripped of his power and left as a figurehead for real due to his cowardly attempt to sell out the entire kingdom to rogue Mage Caligula Kira in exchange for his own life. Also due to Caligula Kira's actions in murdering the entire Magic Parliament (minus Damnatio Kira who survived), the authority of the kingdom is currently under the Wizard King Julius Novachrono and the Magic Knights.

Geography

The kingdom is a mountainous region. It is bordered by three rival kingdoms: Diamond Kingdom to the north, Spade Kingdom to the west, and Heart Kingdom to the south. A sea lies to the east.

Economy, Social Class and Culture

The Clover Kingdom's economy is based on yul currency. There are three major locations, Forsaken, Common, and Noble. In the outermost region are the poorest and weakest and are looked down upon by those from the inner regions.

Social class also plays a major factor in the country's culture, Commoners from the Forsaken and Common regions are looked down from those of nobility. Despite peasants being accepted into the Magic Knights, these prejudices follow them even if they have large amounts of mana. As such because of this imbalance of power, wealth and social status, hostile groups such the Eye of the Midnight Sun have risen to rectify it.

Order of Magic Knights

The Clover Kingdom's Magic Knights is an organization where selected mages enter and become part of the Kingdom's military as a Magic Knight. The organization has a noble duty, protecting the Kingdom from various threats, such as invasions from foreign countries, to local crimes within the Kingdom itself.

Squads

Golden Dawn

Led by William Vangeance, the Golden Dawn is one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. It is regarded as the best in the Clover Kingdom and mostly comprised of nobles and royals.

Black Bull

Led by Yami Sukehiro, the Black Bulls are one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are infamous for their destructive behavior and trouble-making, and is regarded as the worst of the squads.

Silver Eagle

Led by Nozel Silva, the Silver Eagles are one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are founded and run by the highborn Silva family.

Blue Rose

Led by Charlotte Roselei, the Blue Rose is one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are an all-female squad, with the male members serving as errand boys instead of doing the fighting.

Crimson Lion

Led by Fuegoleon Vermillion, the Crimson Lions are one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are founded and run by the highborn Vermillion family.

Green Mantis

Led by Jack the Ripper, the Green Mantis is one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are composed entirely of commoners, making them more down to earth than the rest of the Magic Knights.

Coral Peacock

Led by Dorothy Unsworth, the Coral Peacocks are one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are an eccentric squad with a Captain who is almost always sleeping and a flamboyant Vice Captain.

Purple Orca

Led by Kaiser Granvorka, the Purple Orcas are one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are the most morally dubious of the squads, with the highest number of loathsome members with the exception of the current Captain.

Azure Deer

Led by Rill Boismortier, the Azure Deer is one of the nine squads of Magic Knights in the Clover Kingdom. They are an easygoing squad with a friendly Captain.

Relationship With the Traveling Strike Force

As one of the Magic Knight Squads is part of the TSF, the Clover Kingdom are allies with Sojiro and his followers. Initially Sojiro did meet with several obstacles, such as the prejudice of the nobility class, such as the Magic Parliament, and the skepticism from the Magic Knight Captains. However, the Magic Knight Captains came to believe him after their leader Julius Novachrono, the Wizard King pointed out the accurate reasoning of his tale. Also, when the banished royal Caligula Kira murdered the Magic Parliament, which in turn lead the King Augustus Kira tried to exchange the kingdom to Caligula for his own life, an action that caused the Chairman Damnatio to side with Julius side and agreed to side with the Magic Knights decision.

Towns, Cities and Notable Landmarks

Royal Capital

The Royal Capital

Is the capital of the country which located on top it's tallest mountain at the centre of the kingdom. It is also were the Kingdom's royal family and Magic Knight Headquarters located. A wall separates it from the rest of the Noble Region, and a magic barrier protects it.

Raque

Is a beach town located in the noble region in the east. It is popular resort in for nobles and Magic Knights.

Kikka

Is one of many castle towns in the kingdom located in the Common Region located near the Noble Region. Due to its close proximity with the Noble region. The town is close enough that the citizens have a vivid view of the Kingdom's palace from it. Kikka is a well-developed town with paved roads and many large stone-based houses

Hage

Is a small village located in the forsaken region of the kingdom. It is mostly undeveloped with several houses randomly located within a wide grassy plain. One of the notable landmarks within Hage is the huge skeleton of a demon, which is located slightly outside of the village. A statue of the first Wizard King (actually Lemiel sealed in stone), who defeated the demon, was placed on top of the demon's skull. It is also the hometown of Asta and Yuno

Sosshi

Kiten

Is a border located along the border of the Diamond Kingdom. It severs as a key defense encase of invasion. The Town is known quite rich resources. It has a large wall surrounding the entire town with several towers along its length. A large magic barrier can be raised to further protect the town. It blocks external attacks but allows attacks launched from inside to pass through. The barrier also requires fifty Magic Knights to power and maintain it.
