Ejiro as a child

When Eijiro was 3 years old his quirk manifested while he woke up one night to go to the bathroom, when rubbing his eyes this made his hand harden and caused Eijiro to cut himself, which left a scar on his right eye. This caused him to resent his quirk.

Despite this, Eijiro began to admire the hero Crimson Riot, whose Quirk was very similar to his. This admiration caused Eijiro to adopt Crisom Riot's ideology and mentality that, as long as he has a manly spirit, then Quirks don't even matter.

He attend Mustafa Private Middle School along with future classmate Mina Ashido during Junior High and although they were not close. Although two rarely interacting with each other he was self conscious on his looks and personality, due her strong personality and outgoing nature.

This was worsened during an incident where Eijiro, dominated by fear, found himself unable to stand up against a giant figure who was threatening fellow students of his school, who were saved by Mina when she managed to deceive the terrifying person by giving him false directions. This incident left Eijiro feeling wholly incapable of being a hero primarily due to his hesitation in risking his life to save others.

Powers and Abilities Edit

Eijiro has proven himself to be a very formidable individual on numerous occasions. His abilities earned him 2nd place in the U.A. Entrance Exam, having a fair balance of both villain and rescue points, and 8th place in the Quirk Apprehension Test. Thanks to his Quirk, Eijiro's fighting style is straightforward and reckless, letting his hardened body take opposing hits while delivering counterattacks.

Quirk Edit

Hardening: Eijiro's Quirk gives him the power to harden and sharpen any part of his body. The ability not only protects him from physical attacks, but also from heat and shock waves. Eijiro also becomes stronger to an extent. The drawback of his Quirk is that there is a limit to how much damage the hardened skin can withstand, which causes the hardening itself to slowly dissipate, and Eijiro to lose stamina.
