Beowolf a common breed of the Creatures of Grimm

Biology[]

Are the dominant and destructive race that inhabit the Dust World/Remnant. They are described as "creatures of destruction" that lack a soul; hence, they are unable to use Aura. They are also drawn to feelings of negativity- such as envy, sadness, loneliness, and hatred- often congregating towards the source of these emotions.

The Grimm were created by the God of Darkness are born from the pools in the Land of Darkness. Grimm come in a variety of shapes and sizes; the latter appears to be a factor of age. Grimm are very biodiverse as different individuals may be born with more or less size, armor, spikes, etc. Grimm do not age and can live forever if they are not killed they also get larger and smarter as such they learn from their battles and thus become more deadly. Grimm have a verity of abilities depending on the breed. Such as the ability over lighting or fire. Grimm are stated to be attracted to generally negative feelings such as sadness, hostility, anger and fear, and even congregate in areas that, although Humanity has long since abandoned, still hold residual traces of these feelings. Grimm will also join in on an attack on villages if the people begin to panic.

Grimm only attack humans and Faunus on sight though they will fight with animals over territorial disputes.

It appears that Grimm do not need to eat but they can choose to instead. It is also believed that they survivor on the negative emotions or that act killing itself. When Grimm die, their corporeal form evaporates, preventing detailed anatomical or biological studies. Grimm can also not be held captive by normal means as they will either die themselves or kill their captors given first chance.

Culture[]

Grimm tend to stick their particular breed in packs, though sometimes members may stray from their packs for days, weeks or months. They will inevitably re-join their group to continue their instinctive drive to hunt the people of Remnant and destroy any artificial creations associated with them. The Grimm appear to loyal to their creator the God of Darkness. Though after his departure they appear to be equally loyal to Salem on which they obey her every command, proving that they are not entirely mindless.

Grimm also tend live in areas were places of great negativity are such destroyed villages or near borders of the Kingdoms.

They also drawn to places of great negative emotions as well. This behavior will even lead to them to join in on an attack in progress if the Humans being attacked begin to panic.

Strengths[]

The Creatures of Grimm's strength very depending breed and age. As Grimm have also various of abilities and durability depending on these factors. Such as Apathy ability to drain the will of it victims or Leviathan due to size being harder to kill.

Another advantage is age as Grimm are ageless and can't die by normal means. As such Grimm that survive their battles and live longer appear to learn from their experiences. While sometimes requiring hundreds of years, the Grimm's accumulated experiences over the course of surviving their battles with man can cause them to begin exercising caution. Another factor is that longer they live the larger they become. This perverse form of self-preservation can even lead them to avoid unnecessary conflicts altogether. Yet, despite this ability to learn, their instinctual hostility still remains, as shown by their preference to patrol the borders of Kingdoms for any weaknesses they might someday exploit.

But their greatest advantage is numbers as they are dominate race in their world thanks to numbers occupying particularly outside Kingdoms also due they nature of their birth they are near constant supply making them excellent foot soldiers.

Grimm do not require sustenance but rather choose too.

Weaknesses[]

Despite their different variety of strength and abilities, the Grimm are not invincible. Some of the more common Grimm's such as Beowolf's can be easily defeated by skilled Huntsman and advanced weaponry. There biggest weakness are individuals who are descended from the Silver Eyed Warriors, who are said to be a preservation is considered an extension of creation, Silver Eyes can work against Grimm as they are manifestations of destruction. Legend has it that Silver-Eyed Warriors are able to strike down Grimm with a single look.

They can also be easily destroyed by those who use Magic, especially if they know how to control it. They can be easily killed by beings of other worlds, such as members of the Watcher Race, who are able to kill a large number of them in one attack without any difficulty.

Grimm Breeds[]

Apathy[]

The Apathy are a dangerous humanoid skeleton-like Grim. While slow in speed and they quite durable. Their special is that are able enmity a scream that weakens their prey by draining their will. It's power enough to the point of falling asleep while in combat, or even cause their death while unconscious.

Beetle Grimm[]

The Beetle Grimm is a small black insect with white carapace, elytron and four red eyes. It has the ability to transfer powers from person to another viva special type of glove it is summoned from.

Beowolf[]

They Beowolves are werewolf-like Grimm that are the most common type found in the world and are consider the weakest type. These are more dangerous in larger numbers then alone. Their is a sub-type called the Alpha Beowolf which is a lot more stronger and larger then the standard type.

Beringel[]

The Beringels are gorilla-like Grimm that are one of the stronger known types of Grimm as well as surprisingly durable and aggressive foes. They are quite strong, able to smash buildings with ease with bare hands. These Grimm also known use other Grimm to attack their foes such throwing them at their opponents.

Blind Worm[]

The Blind Worms are worm-like Grimm that can range from 6 feet to bigger than Flatback Sliders, which tower at over 100 feet in height, and are built to be far faster when traveling in sands. Like the King Taijitu, they have a head on each end of their body. These Grimm are found in the deserts in the Kingdom of Vacuo. They attack mainly using blindsiding tactics, they also able to spit acid.

Boarbatusk[]

The Boarbatusks are boar-like Grimm, that quite and smart sometimes trying to disarm their opponents to make them easer to kill it also has displayed the ability to spin forward along its spine. They also by using the tusks to charge at their opponents. Their weak point appear to be locate small under belly. The found mostly in the wilderness near the Kingdom of Vale.

Capivara[]

The Capivaras are large rat-like Grimm.

Centinel[]

The Centinels are centipede-like Grimm. They are capable of spewing acid. They can move at great speed and burrow underground. They have shown to have paired attacks.

Cenitaur[]

According to Miles Luna, if a Centinel isn't killed quick enough they evolve into Cenitaur. They have grown much larger in size, have grown bladed arms and extra mandibles, and their skulls have altered.

Chill[]

The Chills are possession-type Grimm that is capable of possessing Humans and Faunus. They are able to do this through hopping from host to host. They true appearance is unknown. Chill is indistinguishable when possessing a Human, other than their inability to speak more than the victim's last words. When not possessing anyone they are incorporeal and live in the shadows. However they can only possess someone for then a few minutes. They instead, rely on the element of surprise and the unwillingness of people to kill their friends and loved ones to seal a victim's fate. They are also known to be extremely rare.

Creep[]

The Creeps are short subterranean Grimm. The only limbs Creeps have are two legs and a tail.

Death Stalker[]

The Death Stalkers are giant scorpion-like Grimm that has a jet-black exoskeleton underneath several large, white, bonelike plates upon its back, which are adorned with red markings. They quite strong and mostly attack using the stingers and pincers despite be a scorpion it is unknown if the possess venom. They are mostly found in the wilderness near the Kingdom of Vale.

Dromedon[]

The Dromedon are camel-like Grimm that can spit acid.

Geist[]

The Geists are ghost-like Grimm capable of possessing inanimate objects.

Goliath[]

The Goliaths are elephant-like Grimm.

Griffon[]

The Griffons are griffin-like Grimm.

The Hound[]

King Taijitu[]

The King Taijius are snake-like Grimm. They have heads on each end of their bodies. They are white on one half of their body and black on the other.

Jackalope[]

The Jackalopes are rabbit-like Grimm with red and white antlers.

Lagartodiles[]

Lancer[]

The Lancers are wasp-like Grimm. They are two variants, the more common Warrior Drone and the larger Queen Lancer.

Leviathan[]

The Leviathans are gigantic sea Grimm. They can attack with a stream of electric fire.

Manticore[]

The Manticores are manticore-like Grimm. They have feathered wings and a scorpion tail. They can spit fireballs.

Megoliath[]

The Megoliaths are mammoth-like Grimm.

Monstra[]

The Monstras are whale-like Grimm. Their insides appears like a base with landing pads, rooms and hallways. They are able to spew pools of darkness, spawning all kinds of Grimm.

Nevermore[]

The Nevermore avian-like Grimm, two notable examples of this are its resemblances to condors and ravens. Like other Grimm, it has a mask-like, white bony structure overlaying the upper front of its head. It also has four glowing red eyes, two on each side of its head. The headpiece also includes a dorsal spine or fin, reminiscent of that on the heads of condors and some prehistoric pterosaurs. They come in two different sizes the smaller versions that attack in groups to the much larger versions. The Nevermore seems to primarily resort to swooping mid-flight towards its target and leading in with its beak, then returning to flight using the downward momentum it gained during the attack. They are also known to have long range attack which that fire feathers. This type of Grimm appear to be used Cult Of The End and it's allies as modes of transportation.

Nuckelavee[]

The Nuckelavees are horse-like Grimm with an Imp riding it. It can emit a piercing screech. Only the horse of the imp can move at a time.

Ravager[]

The Ravagers are bat-like Grimm.

Razorwing[]

The Razorwings are harpy-like Grimm.

Sabyr[]

The Sabyrs are sabretooth cat-like Grimm.

Sea Feilong[]

The Sea Feilongs are sea dragon-like Grimm. They can create a strong gust of winds with their wings and can breath lightning.

Seer[]

The Seers are jellyfish-like Grimm that can be used as a means of communication.

Sphinx[]

The Sphinxes are sphinx-like Grimm. They have wings and a snake for a tail. They can shoot fireballs.

Sulfur Fish[]

The Sulfer Fishes are insect-like Grimm. They can super heat their barbs. They can combine together for two more powerful forms.

Tempest[]

The Tempests are jellyfish-like Grimm. They are capable of generating storms.

Teryx[]

The Teryxes are winged raptor-like Grimm.

Ursa[]

The Ursas are bear-like Grimm.

The Wyverns are dragon-like Grimm. They are creating waters of darkness, thus creating more Grimm.

Ziraph[]

The Ziraphs are three-headed giraffe-like Grimm.
